After the stunning success of last year's very first Oswestry Food & Drink Festival, we are now looking forward with relish (no pun intended) to this year's festival - which will be twice as nice! :)

Come along on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th July 2008 from 10am-4pm. Tell your friends and let's get Oswestry buzzing again. See the updated Programme!

You will experience some top-class local Exhibitors back again from last year, such as Stonehouse Brewery, Shropshire Cheese Company, Treflach Farm, Chirk Trout Farm & Smokery and Stephen Radford's to name but a few!

Also, we've had fantastic interest from new and exciting Exhibitors too! It promises to be a great couple of days.

Dear Local Exhibitors, we are now fully booked for 2008, but we are taking Booking Requests for 2009.

If you would like to request a booking for 2009, let us know as soon as possible - don't miss out! Click here to see a selection of this year's wonderful exhibitors.

For Local Companies, if you would like to sponsor the festival in some capacity, then get in touch to indicate what you would like to be involved with. At the last festival, we had a range of events available for sponsoring.

For Local Retailers - have a good think about how you want to get involved next year. For example, competitions, window displays, special offers and events. This festival is all about the town AS A WHOLE so you will be vital to the success of the festival.

For Local Supporters, if you enjoyed this year's festival and would like to get involved in some capacity, please get in touch. As we get closer to the festival, there are a whole range of activities that must be taken responsibility for - so it's a great way to learn new skills and enjoy contributing to the town's present and future.

IF YOU DIDN'T MAKE LAST TIME - HERE IS SOME OF WHAT HAPPENED!

...on the Festival Programme.

One thing is for sure - no-one was bored! :)  Somewhere between experiencing the amazing range of local food and drink, there were treasure trails to explore (fantastic prizes - see July edition of Country & Border Life for the map!), competitions to take part in, a tea dance to twinkle your toes at, demonstrations aplenty...great fun!

That's not to mention the brilliant menus the restaurants produced featuring creative and sumptious dishes made from local produce AND live music into the night from local bands Lady Muck and Inzaghe to name but a few.
