The lively market town of Oswestry is in North Shropshire close to the Welsh border. It is well-served by rail, bus and road connections, so coming along to the festival should be a pleasant trip.

ON FOOT

This is the very best way to arrive at the festival for those who live nearby, or who fancy a hike which ends at a delightful festival; where the delicious fayre will stand you in good stead for the hike back! 🙂

BY BIKE

Shropshire and the Borderlands are hugely popular with cyclists. Why not bike it in, through the stunning local countryside byways. Just leave some space for some tasty snacks for the journey home.

BY RAIL

Gobowen Railway Station is the nearest stations with Oswestry being a short bus or taxi ride away.

A regular service runs from Shrewsbury, Chester, Wrexham and Welshpool. National coaches also stop at the bus station.

BY ROAD

From the North:

* Take the M6 Junction 9 (M56 to Chester)
* Take the M56 Junction 15 (M53 to Wrexham)
* The M53 Leads onto the A55
* Follow the A55 Junction with the A483 (Signed to Wrexham)
* Follow the A483 (head for Oswestry)
* At the A483 / A5 Mile End Roundabout Turn Right
* Follow signs for town parking.

From the South:

* Take the M6 Junction 10A M54 (Signed Telford)
* Follow M54 until it becomes the A5.
* Follow the A5 through Shrewsbury.
* Continue on the A5 till you reach Mile End Roundabout A5 /A483.
* Take first exit left towards Oswestry onto Shrewsbury Road.
* Follow signs for town parking.
